Fright Nights 2026
What is Fright Nights at Warner Bros. Movie World?
Fright Nights is Warner Bros. Movie World’s annual after-dark Halloween event on the Gold Coast. Held on selected nights in October, Fright Nights transforms the park with haunted mazes, scare precincts, WB Horror Encounters, entertainment and selected rides after dark.
Fright Nights is a separately ticketed event and is not included with regular daytime park admission.
When is Fright Nights 2026?
Fright Nights 2026 takes place across nine selected nights in October: 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31 October 2026.
Fright Nights runs from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, with rides and mazes operating until 10:00pm. View all Fright Nights 2026 event dates.
What time does Fright Nights start and finish?
Fright Nights officially runs from 6:00pm to 10:00pm on each event night. Guests with a valid Fright Nights ticket can present their ticket at the turnstiles from 5:00pm and access available attractions before the event officially begins.
Where is Fright Nights held?
Fright Nights is held at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, located at Entertainment Road, Oxenford, Queensland 4210.
Parking is available onsite, and public transport options are also available for guests travelling to the park.
How scary is Fright Nights?
Fright Nights is designed to be a frightening Halloween experience, with horror mazes, scare actors, immersive precincts, dark environments, loud noises and visual effects throughout the event. If you need a break from the scares during the night, designated Safe Zones are available around the park.
Is Fright Nights suitable for children?
The event contains extremely scary themes and experiences, and is not recommended for children under the age of 14 years. We strongly recommend that all children be accompanied by an adult who shall be solely responsible for their care and conduct whilst on these premises.

Are the Fright Nights mazes included with my ticket?
Yes, access to the Fright Nights mazes is included with standard event admission.
What rides are open during Fright Nights?
A selection of Warner Bros. Movie World's rides and attractions operate after dark during Fright Nights. Ride availability may vary, and queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish operating by the event close at 10pm.

Are Panic Rooms included with Fright Nights tickets?
No. Panic Rooms are an optional upgrade and are not included with standard Fright Nights admission. They must be purchased separately, and event admission is also required.
Panic Rooms are immersive escape-room experiences where your group races against the clock to solve clues and escape.
What is Fast Track at Fright Nights?
Fast Track is an optional paid upgrade designed to help you maximise your time at Fright Nights by reducing your wait at selected rides and mazes. Choose from two Fast Track packages to suit your night. Fast Track packages are limited and often sell out, so we recommend purchasing in advance. Fast Track is not included with standard admission and must be purchased separately.
What is First Bite at Fright Nights?
First Bite is an optional pre-event upgrade that lets you start your Fright Nights experience early. From 4:30pm, First Bite includes access to an exclusive VIP lounge area, live DJ entertainment, character meet and greets, canapés and selected drinks, plus additional food and drink inclusions to redeem during the night.
Fright Nights event admission is separate.
Will scare actors touch me at Fright Nights?
No, scare actors will not touch you during Fright Nights. While they may get close to create a thrilling experience, physical contact is not part of the event. We also ask that guests do not touch the actors.
Are there Safe Zones at Fright Nights?
If you find yourself needing a break from the scares or need to catch your breath and regroup, you can head to one of the safe zones located near the Fountain of Fame, DC Rivals HyperCoaster, Gotham City Cafe and Dirty Harry Bar & Grill. You can view these locations on the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App.
Costumes
Can I wear a costume to Fright Nights?
Yes, you can wear a costume and light facial make-up to Fright Nights. However, decorative full-face coverings and make-up that prevents facial identification aren't permitted.
Dangerous items and weapons cannot be brought into Warner Bros. Movie World. Guests are screened before entry to ensure guidelines are met, and some costume pieces may also need to be removed to experience certain rides. We reserve the right to deny entry to any guest not complying with the guidelines.
Can I wear a mask or face paint to Fright Nights?
Light facial make-up is permitted, but decorative full-face coverings and heavy make-up that prevents facial identification are not permitted for health and safety reasons. You may be required to remove these before entering Warner Bros. Movie World.

Should I buy my Fright Nights tickets in advance?
Yes, we strongly recommend purchasing your Fright Nights tickets in advance, as this is a popular event and nights often sell out. Buying online also ensures you secure your preferred date and avoid missing out.
How much are Fright Nights 2026 tickets?
Fright Nights 2026 General Admission tickets currently start from $89 per person, with pricing varying by event date. Check the Fright Nights Tickets page for current pricing and availability.
What does a Fright Nights ticket include?
A standard Fright Nights ticket includes entry on your selected event date, plus access to the haunted mazes, scare precincts, WB Horror Encounters, entertainment and selected rides operating after dark.
Panic Rooms, Fast Track, Digital Photo Pass, First Bite and daytime Warner Bros. Movie World entry are upgrades or separate purchases and are not included with standard Fright Nights admission.
Does a Fright Nights ticket include daytime entry to Warner Bros. Movie World?
No. A Fright Nights ticket provides entry for the Fright Nights event and does not include regular daytime admission to Warner Bros. Movie World.
If you'd like to visit Movie World during the day, you'll need separate daytime admission. Fright Nights ticket holders can present their event ticket at the turnstiles from 5:00pm, before Fright Nights officially begins at 6:00pm.
Can I leave Fright Nights and come back in?
No. Pass-outs are not available during Fright Nights. If you leave the park during the event, you won't be able to re-enter using the same ticket.
Planning Your Visit
What time should I arrive at Fright Nights?
Guests with a valid Fright Nights ticket can present their ticket at the turnstiles from 5:00pm, before the event officially begins at 6:00pm.
Arriving early gives you time to enter the park and access available attractions before Fright Nights begins.
Is parking available at Fright Nights?
Yes. Parking is available onsite at Warner Bros. Movie World and operates as it does during regular park hours. We recommend allowing plenty of time to arrive and enter the park before the event.
What happens if it rains during Fright Nights?
Fright Nights continues even in wet weather. Please note that during lightning and severe thunderstorms, Warner Bros. Movie World may temporarily suspend rides and attractions and maze queuing until they are safe to operate.
Is there an entertainment schedule for Fright Nights?
Yes. Fright Nights features entertainment and character experiences throughout the event. Check the 2026 Fright Nights Entertainment Schedule before your visit for the latest times and locations.
Food & Drink
Can I bring food or drinks into Fright Nights?
Food, beverage, eskies and coolers may not be brought into the park. Guests with special dietary requirements are exempt from this policy. No alcohol may be brought into Warner Bros. Movie World.
Can I buy food and drinks during Fright Nights?
Yes. Food and drinks are available to purchase during Fright Nights, with selected outlets operating throughout the event. The event also features themed food and drink options, with licensed bars available for guests aged 18 and over.

Accessibility & Guest Services
What accessibility services are available at Fright Nights?
Fright Nights offers a range of accessibility services to support guests with disabilities, medical conditions, or additional needs. This includes wheelchair and stroller hire, accessible restrooms, and queue assistance. We recommend reviewing the full Accessibility Guide, Sensory Guide, and Visual Story before your visit. Are sensory guides available?
Yes, sensory guides are available to help guests plan their visit to Fright Nights. These include the Sensory Guide, Visual Story, and Accessibility Guide, which outline potential triggers such as lighting, sound, and scare elements.
How much does it cost to hire a stroller or wheelchair at Warner Bros. Movie World?
Standard Stroller
$20.00 non-refundable hire fee. The hire fees include GST and is per day or part thereof. These strollers are intended for children from 6 months of age, up to 15kg in weight and under 100cm in height. Please note: Fright Nights is not recommended for guests under the age of 14.
Wheelchair
Wheelchair hire is complimentary.
A form of ID is required. A limited number of wheelchairs are available so we recommend you pre-book with Guest Services.
Are assistance animals allowed?
Assistance animals are welcome; however, for safety reasons they are not permitted to ride attractions. Assistance animals must be on a lead, not left unattended and wear vests that identify their role. Guests with an assistance animal may be asked to provide evidence that their animal is an assistance animal. If sufficient evidence is not provided, we may restrict entry.

We also have the right to restrict entry to any animals, where it is reasonably necessary to protect public health or the health of other animals in our care.

We would appreciate you contact us 72 hours prior to your visit so we can ensure that the relevant Wildlife and Guest Experience teams are notified. Our team can also provide information on areas within the park that assistance animals may not be permitted.
Is there queue assistance available?
Parent Swap and Queue Proxy services are available within the park for guests who are unable to stand in a queue for extended periods or have children unable to experience a particular ride or attraction and require supervision. Guests with a Companion Card can access priority entry to suitable rides and attractions. As personal situations and ride requirements vary, please visit Guest Services for specific information.
Alternatively, Fast Track is available at selected rides. Fast Track is a fee based system, offering guests the opportunity to maximise their experience in the park by accessing a shorter queue exclusively for Fast Track guests, reducing their waiting time.
Where are the restrooms?
Restrooms are located throughout the park. You can find the nearest facilities by using the interactive map on the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app, available for free download on iOS and Android.

First Aid
What first aid facilities are available?
A First Aid centre is available during event nights. It’s located near Country Fun’n’Games in the Western section of the park. If you need assistance, speak to the nearest team member or use the park map on the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app to find your way.
Can guests with disabilities, medical conditions or injuries attend?
Guests with any special needs should visit Guest Services upon arrival and our friendly team will assist in planning their night.
Guests with casts and strapped limbs As we have a duty of care to our guests, we do not allow any guest with a visible injury, such as a hard cast support, to ride any attraction with G-force. As supports vary, our Guest Services team assist guests with planning their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely in accordance with manufacturers and management guidelines.
Guests with an amputation or prosthesis For safety reasons, guests with an amputated limb or prosthesis may be unable to utilise select attractions. As situations vary, our Guest Services team will assist guests with planning their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely in accordance with manufacturers and management guidelines.
Guests with Epilepsy and motion sickness Select attractions are not recommended for guests with Epilepsy, motion sickness or those who experience seizures. We suggest you contact Guest Services prior or visit the office upon arrival. As situations vary, our Guest Services team assist guests in planning their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely.
What support is available for guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids?
Rides & Attractions
In order to maximise time and enjoyment, ride and attraction guidelines are provided for guests with disabilities, medical conditions and injuries however guests should visit the Guest Services office (location G5) before presenting to our rides and attractions. Our experienced Guest Services team are available at any time to discuss ride suitability in consideration of ride/attraction manufacturer’s guidelines. These standards and safety systems require all guests to maintain the proper riding position, meet the ride requirements, appropriately utilise the restraints systems and safely navigate evacuation stairwells and pathways. Following a conversation with Guest Services a communication wristband will be supplied to avoid any inconvenience or disruption to your day.
Dining and Shopping
All restaurants, eateries and shops are accessible by wheelchair. Should you have specific dietary requirements, please contact Guest Services prior to or during your visit.
Is there parking available for Fright Nights?
Yes, parking is available onsite and operates the same as during regular Warner Bros. Movie World hours. We recommend arriving early.
Reserved parking is available in the first row of the car park for guests whose vehicles display a Disability Parking Permit. The reserved spaces are clearly marked with the International Disabilities Symbol. Located near the reserved parking is a designated area for drop off/pick up.
